I have to admit... I'm a few days into this little project to document trash and I am already overwhelmed!!
There is simply SO MUCH TRASH! Amazing how prevalent it is when you actually TAKE NOTICE!!
I think we have all just simply become immune and acclimatized to seeing trash everywhere and have become desensitised to it all...
Today was depressing because there was simply more trash than I could possibly pick up or even photograph... How sad.
And again, trash close to garbage containers...
And another school on my hit list... Semiahmoo Secondary... At first blush I have to say that I was surprised how "relatively" clean it was, at least compared to the other local High School, Earl Marriott... But on closer inspection, around the back of the school, was garbage heap of disgusting proportions... So sad...
My task this weekend, is to pick a school, and document the trash, then post it, and send the info to the school and the Superintendent for schools in Surrey... I doubt that I will get any traction, but it is awesome exercise... And I feel like i am doing something productive.
